Pork products are susceptible to spoilage and fluid loss when subjected to temperature abuse.  Consumer perceptions regarding pork products are improving, but could benefit from an additional layer of confidence building that could be achieved by temperature labeling.

These perspectives on Pork products suggest multiple applications for CheckPoint® labels: brand protection for recognized and trusted marks, weight-based value protection in transit from bulk suppliers to retailers for repackaged product, and placement on case-ready product in ROP packaging for HACCP compliance.
